Homoeopathy -the second largest system of medicine utilized by the world population, as estimated by WHO has completed 220 years of its inception.. It is a legalized medical system in 42 countries including India and enjoys the status of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) in 28 countries. It is still spreading to greater number of nations in the world. The prime reason for this fast spreading acceptance of homoeopathy can be reasonably attributed to its being “safe, simple, scientific, economic and effective medicine for all”.
